Sky's run to the Finish

Below are a few images while I work through problems and issues as they arise, I learned a lot about animation, terrain elements (trees, mountains, grass) textures and materials within Unity and Blender. I really had a lot of fun and enjoyed having an artist come in and more style to the UI and HUD.

Some things didn’t go smooth and had to be minimized, simplified or cut out. The Music was made with Sonic Pi a Ruby based code to sound program, the sound effects was made by recording a dogs sounds, even the flying saucers engine sfx is a dog making a noise added a fan sound over it, plus an effect and the result is that. The digging sound is a dog biting on a bone/chewing, it worked.

The gold dog house was a last minute contribution so didn’t have time to texture, though it worked out I think. Overall the sound effects were by far the most time consuming to script and get right, making them I had a blast, but only ended using a few out of the many.

The terrain I would have love to expand on and added houses and other items to collect and gain some tokens to get wearable outfits or hats at the least, lol.

I am very proud of the dirt pile generator that lets you set an area and having a prefab of a dirt pile that can generate another prefab after the player gets close enough and presses the E key. I have a bone take its place, I think I may need to destroy them to save memory instead of just setting the active state to false.

The animations where done bone by bone using Blender, I got stuck a few times transferring it to Unity. I feel I have a way better understanding and knowledge on Exporting from Blending and Importing to Unity via FBX file, setting the scale to work with everything else in the game.
